The Wedding App was founded by Kerry Krull-Barrett, an experienced event manager who saw a major gap in how weddings communicate with their guests. With a background in corporate event planning, Kerry was used to creating seamless guest experiences where everyone had the right information at the right time. But when she transitioned into wedding planning during the pandemic — and later started planning her own wedding in 2022 — she realized weddings often lacked the same technology and organization that made corporate events so smooth.

Like many guests (and even as a professional planner), she found herself forgetting RSVP deadlines, wondering if she had already responded, or scrambling to remember start times and updates. That frustration inspired The Wedding App — which she launched at her own wedding. The Wedding App is an all-in-one solution designed to keep couples and guests effortlessly connected, while giving wedding planners an easy way to share updates and send alerts in real time.
